Using the Platinum XL is quite easy. Spend a minute to familiarize yourself with your trimmer.

Quick-Start Instructions
1.Simply hold the upper portion of the trimmer barrel with the thumb and forefinger of one hand.
2.With your other hand, grasp the lower portion and rotate back and forth. (Rolling the lower portion between your thumb and forefinger may work best.)
3.While continuing to rotate the lower portion of the trimmer, insert the Platinum XL into your nostril or ear, keeping the upper portion still. Before you know it, you're ready to stick your well-groomed nose up at anyone!

Important Consideration
The blades are guaranteed to never cut the sensitive lining of the nostril so it is possible to safely trim nose hair further into the nostril if desired. Remember, nose hair does serve many useful purposes such as keeping foreign matter from reaching your breathing passage and lungs. We recommend that you keep as much interior hair as you can handle and only trim nose hairs that are unsightly, using the Platinum XL for routine follow-up trimming. Cleaning your Platinum XL
Simply hold the Platinum XL under running water to rinse the hairs from the cylinder. For a more thorough cleaning, remove the small screw located at the midpoint of the trimmer barrel and remove the inner shaft. Let air dry.
